Mr. Killam announced that the calibrations would be available for the Perten and Foss NIR instruments at no charge, other than the cost of enrolling the calibrations into Caltests instrument and calibration monitoring program, and meeting the conditions below. Price: $0.00

Calibration #4: Soluble
Carbohydrates [Dry Matter Basis (DMB)] (N = 459)
Conditions for Acquisition: (a) User agrees to send all unique soybean samples to the University of Minnesota so that the unique samples can be added to the calibrations to make them more robust. The University of Minnesota will then return to all users of the calibration(s) a more robust calibration. (b) User agrees to have Caltest, LLC monitor users instrument and all (UMN) soybeans calibrations in use at users site (this is a service-for-fee based program) (c) User agrees to allow Caltest, LLC to alert the University of Minnesota when it detects a unique soybean sample and deliver to the University the users Wet-Lab results and NIR spectrum of that sample.
